  • The cotter is a good place for a picnic. You will have to bring all your items as there isn't a shop close by. Parking is for free here. I suggest you also walk up to the dam and look and see the info...  more »

  • Great BBQ (gas, free) and play area. Has a nice playground, plenty of shade (not over the playground though), and kids can play in the river in summer. Also some nice walks.
  • Nice location, good scenery. Great place for a picnic
  • Great campground with lots of facilities. There's a nice stream close by that would be perfect for summer. We even saw kangaroos passing by the camp area. It does get busy though as it's a free camp site.
  • This place is great, clean, cheap and has a good location. We saw wild animals while we were there and then drove about 20 minutes to an animal sanctuary that I definitely recommend. (Tidbinbilla sanctuary)
  • Worth the money !! And the best place for the first time campers. Basic facilities are good but firewood run out of stock, so make sure to buy ahead.
