  • Enjoyable atmosphere, good coffee, very nice meats and vegetables at good prices (if you look around!).
  • I'm not saying that I buy local purely for the feeling of moral superiority, but it sure doesn't hurt. A ride out to the markets on Saturday morning for pastries, vegies, fresh flowers and some puppy cuddles always sets the perfect tone to a great weekend.
  • Great local food and produce.
  • Great produce at a reasonable price. Can be fun during good weather.
