  • The kids always love visiting. The playground is so much fun and going for a walk around the dam and feeding the ducks and fish is always a winner. There are also lots of facilities to cater for picnics with BBQ's and seating. Note that it is a popular park and can be busy at times
  • So much space to BBQ, play or relax. Easy and ample parking. Thorndon Park has a lot to offer with grassy green picnic and undercover picnic areas, rotunda, lake, children's playground and kiosk. The perfect place for a family get together or birthday party.
  • Plenty of room. Great social environment. Easy access to toilets and easy to get food and drink
  • Good play area. Ducks were awesome. That sometimes start following you. Good place to visit. One of the best parks of Adelaide.
  • Great place for the family for a picnic. I forgot how big it was and just how much room. Really wish they let dogs in.
