  • Mango, papaya, banana, mangosteen, strawberry, etc in addition to vegetables and vegetables such as onions, potatoes, and fruit without from-and along raging fire it up a lot. Mango sweet and delicious and certainly about 1 k? In was a real cheap at around $ 2. The hotel kitchen so cheaper than the supermarket here, buy fruits and vegetables. There are also food corner back hand go in the market and trounced Papua New Guinea is a colorful pattern shop, accessories, etc. Exquisite taste have coffee shops, but there is coffee rate is rich, and easy-to-drink coffee shop. To order and wrote in a container name. Here we recommend!

  • It was a very hot and humid day that we went to this market and it was very humid there. The market is mainly for fruit and veg shopping which is ok. Not much else to shop for.  more »
  • Most food items were overpriced. The fruit on taste was not necessarily the same quality as the ones being sold. Has become touristy and nowhere near as good as it once was.  more »

  • Love visiting on a Saturday morning. Fresh local produce and yummy spicy prawn spring rolls! Shop around for the fresh organic food and the local produce. Snoop out the true locals and visit the many different food stores around the front and sides. Everything is available here from rabbits to Indian spices. This is a must do for anyone visiting the far north. The huge of array of tropical fruit and vegetables is stunning.
  • The best open air produce market in Cairns, with a shifting array of products available on the weekends including tools, jewelry, bric-a-brac an other various goods. But, at its core, Rusty's is a fruit, vegetable and food market. Be wary of claims of local produce as many of the stalls get their produce far from Cairns. Real Food Network is ALL locally grown, organic produce, however, and though more expensive, is worth it from a community and taste perspective. Many of the stalls offer great deals and fresh goods, however, and it is worth a look around if you are visiting and a weekly visit if you are local.
  • People travel from far away to buy their fruit and vegetables from here and I understand why. Everything was so fresh and the tropical fruits were really cheap and in abundance. First time we ever tried yellow dragonfruit and it was amazing!!!!
  • Fresh fruit and vegies fairly reasonably priced (compared to South Australia.) Got to check "drink straight from a coconut" off my personal bucket list. If you're looking for something to do friday/saturday or sunday morning you should check it out.
  • Most of the fruit and veg sold here is seconds that Coles\Woolies and exporters have rejected. Dum locals and backpackers buy it up thinking they are buying fresh local tropical fruit. The only redeeming feature of this market is the guy selling fresh coconuts and a little local organic stall to the back of the market. The rest is just trash.
