  • My husband and I were killing some time on the Tablelands one day and came across Mt Uncle Distillery. We've driven past the signs for this place a number of times but never taken the time to stop. Go...  read more »
  • Worth finding if you are in the area. The distillery itself was about to be re-modelled at the time of our visit, to enable better visitor viewing. Currently that aspect is a bit ordinary. As to the p...  read more »

  • Service is friendly and fast. It's a very restful and peaceful outlook onto lovely landscaped native gardens. The "Bridges Cafe" itself is worth the trip. Beautiful beams and timber slab benches. Large cool, spacious with ample parking for all sorts of vehicles. This beats the run of the mil tourist places hands down.
  • Although the location and animals are great fun for kids, and the food is very tasty and reasonably priced, we received very rude service from the manager/woman in charge. My 17month old daughter was being a very good girl and acting like children do - sometimes running around in the large dining area, sometimes sitting on the couches or gently touching the ornamental flowers. The manager told me that a customer had complained about her behavior and could I please make her be quiet. There's only so much you can do with a toddler, and I'm heavily pregnant. There's no way anyone complained - there were only two other tables in the whole venue, one we had been talking to. I believe the manager said that because she didn't like my daughter playing in the general area. If they don't want children there, just say so. I was very offended to have my child so openly criticized by management, when she was being a very good girl. She wasn't screaming or crying. If you have young children, don't bother eating here - the highchairs are just for show.
  • Sadly, I had a bad experience here yesterday. I realise accidents happen but it could have been handled very differently. When my tea was brought out to me the waitress accidentally tripped on something & the rice milk she had on her tray went onto a large part of my Mac computer keyboard. This is a major deal being an expensive electronic device. There was very little empathy and definitely no suggestion of a free cup of tea or extension towards "if anything happens to your computer in the next little while, please let us know". I left feeling quite confused how the situation was seen as so minor.
  • Best White Rum ive ever had. Cant believe this is in my own backyard. Wait till i tell my mates!!!
  • Quaint place. Great range of spirits made on site.
