  • The food is delicious. I highly recommend the pesto pizza with goat cheese. Very nice. The surrounding is beautiful. We didn't try the liquor, just tap beer, which was nice.
  • What a hidden treasure this place is, just something for all ages, the grounds are magnificent with lots of tables with umbrellas for you to enjoy the outdoors or if you prefer the inside restaurant or the tasting room & view the Distillery in action. The children will love all the animals for viewing so do yourself a favour I highly recommend it.
  • A very understated distillery, great gin. The restaurant had a great view out of some huge windows as well. Worth stopping in for any table lands trip.
  • Update: The restaurant is up and running again. The staff are friendly and the menu is tantalising. It is a distillery so if you were going to bring your children, just remember that. I wouldn't give my children alcohol so logic follows that I wouldn't bring them to a distillery. Forgive the staff then for not bring used to little underage humans. Best White Rum I've ever had. Cant believe this is in my own backyard. Wait till i tell my mates!!!
  • The best food I have eaten on my travels in 6 months, super friendly staff especially the "blonde young lady (owner's Daughter in law from memory)", and the Marshmallow Liquor is to die for :-)

Where to stay in Cairns

Though Cairns seems to offer an endless selection of cozy rooms, most budget-friendly options remain fully booked through the high season, stretching from June to September. Reserve early if you want a hotel room packed with amenities, or look for alternative lodgings in the city's smaller inns. As the backpacker capital of northern Queensland, Cairns features dozens of economical hostels providing comfortable beds and free Wi-Fi. For something far more luxurious, look for centrally located rental apartments with spacious rooms and harbor views.
