  • Had a great day at this NP. Pleasant drive from Kingaroy, bitumen road all the way, though warning signs advise not suitable for caravans. Plenty of parking, coffee and eateries next to the camping area and day use area. Although the aftermath of Cyclone Debbie impacted this area just over a week ago only one short walk is closed, the remainder of the walking tracks are open and in good condition. If visiting the South Burnett this NP should be on your itinerary.
  • Beautiful scenery and clean, Crip mountain air, with wonderful eateries close by, not forgetting the various types of accommodation available. To top it off there are the monthly markets with delicious produce and handmade goods, well worth the visit.
  • This is a unique location on earth with very important ecological and cultural significance. This gem is to be enjoyed and respected as a vestige from a prior epoch. It has an enjoyable and notable hill climb up from the plains country and will reward with a noticeably cooler temperature.
  • A lovely area and the walks there are nice, not difficult either so almost anyone can do them.
  • Peaceful. Calm, serenity. Local wildlife is fantastic. Great walking tracks.
