Koombana Bay Sailing Club encourages yachting for people of all ages.

With a prime location on the edge of Koombana Bay in Bunbury, it is a central point for sailing in the South West of Western Australia.

KBSC races from Spring to Autumn with twilight racing mid-week, weekend regattas and hosts a number of junior and open sailing events.

The club has a strong junior division and provides sailing training for people at all levels.

It has first class club rooms, bar and function facilities with an alfresco area overlooking Koombana Bay, available for members' use and for hire.

  • I visited here in October 2016, it was very windy, cold and the waves were coming in. The kiosk was shut due to the weather and no visitors. The sand was clean and the sea quite clear. Even though the...  read more »
  • During our stay in Bunbury the weather was cool and windy, so this was the best beach to visit. The children loved the playground. No coffee as the Beach Kiosk was closed. 
  • A lovely area to walk along and enjoy the scenery, then head into the city for food. Accessible for disabled people too.
