Buchan Caves, Buchan

(4.5/5 based on 260+ reviews on the web)
With its elegant, tightly packed stalactites and stalagmites, the ethereal beauty of Buchan Caves offers visitors an exotic, otherworldly experience. The caves are primarily limestone in nature, have a total length of approximately 4 km (2.5mi), and are thought to be around 300-400 million years old. The prime attractions of the complex are the Royal Cave and Fairy Cave. Buchan Caves is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our international travel planner, Buchan Edition.
