C is the place where the environmental community grows its vegetables and raising poultry in organic way. So you have the production under the eyes. The site is frequented by families with young children. Mothers meet between them during the day. You have a nice walk along the river. If you want to supply you with organic produce you a large store. Ditto for the plants. The most: access is free and you have parking. You can eat organic in the attached restaurant (see reviews in the restaurant section) If you have a bike repair there is a workshop. There will always be a good soul available. The association also recovers the old bikes.

  • Quirky place, the cafe up top is good if a little pricey with often slightly strange flavour combinations. The nursery is packed full the usual culprits as well as an extensive native plant range, many of an edible variety. Cute child and dog friendly cafe co-located with a sizable organic store at the back. Love it!
  • CERES is a fantastic model for how we can live in harmony with our Earth habitat. You can easily spend several hours here, amongst the chooks, the community gardens, at the playground, or in the plant nursery or organics shop. The restaurant and cafe serve food sourced from their own gardens. CERES also runs courses and workshops, and has a bicycle repair area.
  • Such a lovely place to spend the day. Entry is free, there are lovely gardens and plants to see, several scenic walking options, a nice shop and a cafe. It's a great place for everyone.
  • Great ambience, can connect to nature, they have organic store and a plant seed store too. Also a good place to do farm related volunteer work.. very peaceful.
  • A great place to pick up anything you might want for a a garden. Large and varied selection of fruit trees, herbs, ornamental plants, pots, and accessories. There is a pot exchange barrel, so for those that you pots you can grab free plastic ones, and retuen them when you no longer need them, reducing waste. Staff are friendly and helpful.
