Fun & Games Sports Complex
Opened in 1981, the sprawling complex of sporting facilities encompassed by AIS - Australian Institute of Sport serves as an elite training and research center for Australia’s athletes. The 66 hectare (163 acre) site contains a 5,200-capacity indoor stadium capable of hosting concerts as well as sporting events. The whole campus is liberally scattered with a number of sculptures replicating the actions of a variety of athletes.   • This is a top rate pool for swimming laps in, lovely and clean in the water and the change rooms. Showers have adjustable heat instead of the pre-programmed heat settings that many places have. Car pa...  more »

  • It was good when little kids go and see them and say in there minds l wantbto do that and when they start growing up they tri to be like them

  • if your lucky enough to go with your school like i did its an even better experience than just going to Canberra. And if your child likes sport like i do take them to the AIS where the Athletes train and play:)
