  • The tour took an hour and half. Our children particularly loved the half an hour they spent trying out sports using simulators. Our guide was informative too.  more »

  • An extremely good experience. I got to experience olympic sports thanks to very cool technology, and have a tour of all the facilities. I highly recommend the AIS to everyone.
  • Very nice soccer courts , we go there all the time and very good pricesđŸ˜€
  • I went in there in the holidays for the first time, it was amazing. I enjoyed tour around the place, I would like to work there one day when I'm older.
  • A great aquatic centre made second rate by tearing out the Recovery facility which included a Spa, Sauna and Plunge pool. When I spoke to the management they said they have no plans to rebuild. Canberra now has no recovery facility with a plunge pool open to the public.

Where to stay in Canberra

To stay comfortably near most main attractions in Canberra, choose a hotel in the city's central district. If you're a bit more budget-minded, look for a guesthouse in a neighborhood farther away from the city center. Residential areas offer more parking and quieter rooms at a fraction of the price charged by big-name centrally located hotels. Rental apartments spread across Canberra serve as another cozy option and offer lodgings ranging from simply furnished to luxurious five-star properties.
