Cable Beach, Broome

4.6
Come see one of Australia's most beautiful stretches of sand at Cable Beach. Taking its name from the undersea telegraph cable that stretches from here to Java, the wide beach offers 22.5 km (14 mi) of white sand that tides clean on a daily basis. Spend the day relaxing beneath the tropical sun and ride a camel at sunset along the perfectly flat beach. You can rent an umbrella for shade. Be careful of box jellyfish if you visit from November through March. Put Cable Beach at the forefront of your travel plans using our Broome trip site .

Amazing beach. Definitely recommend going at sunset where you get to see the sun sink into the sea, and also get to see the Camel Trains go past - great opportunity for a photo, but only if you are quick!

What a amazing and unique beach in the world. The place you can rest your soul and fall in love with ocean. The one of the best beaches you can not miss out. Take a trip there.

Beautiful spot to watch the sunset over a feed of fish and chips with a couple of beers. Don't leave as soon as the sun disappears, wait 20 minutes for the afterglow

Nice lawns. The processions of camels descending into Cable Beach always makes them memorable experiences.
