3.6/5 based on 150+ reviews on the web
Broome Deep Water Wharf & Jetty is the city’s link to the world, built in place of an older and much smaller jetty. The structure was primarily designed to accommodate large cargo and cruise ships, but the wharf, with its blue waters in stark contrast to the red rock formations and red sands of the beach, is a popular tourist attraction. You can walk along the jetty to spot turtles and fish, or visit the nearby seafood café, which offers fresh fish meals and a variety of drinks. Visitors looking for some exciting fishing opportunities can try their luck right at the jetty, where local fishermen often catch Australia’s native barramundi. • You can go under the jetty and fish from there. Currently you cannot walk the Jetty. There is a lovely cafe/restaurant that serves local wild Barramundi. Delicious.
  • Worth a visit, great views of land and ocean. Easy walk for all ages. Some fish being caught. Good food at the cafe but a bit pricey for the serving sizes.
  • Interesting to see a wharf that has to manage king tides. Nice café next to it. Great spot for photography.
