  • Get away from Pokolbin and try Stomp (and others) in Broke. Much more friendly and quiet, and the wine prices are cheaper. Stomp is small and friendly and has some great wines. Dont forget to read the...  more »
  • This vineyard is a bit of a drive from Pokolbin. They make predominately dry wines so I couldn't find anything I liked. DH found a good merlot though
  • We stopped in here for a wine taste on a beautiful sunny day in August. We were offered seating in the garden to enjoy the sunshine. It was just lovely sitting there tasting their wine and eating a se...  more »

  • Lovely place to stop in. Great bubbly verdelho.
  • Good wine. Friendly owners. Off the beaten path.
  • Very good winery, off the usual tourist route, some interesting wines, excellent views of the Brokenback Range, recommend the sparkling Verdellho
  • Check out my blog for photos. The owners at Stomp! Wines were so friendly and had a beautiful family. Being a former Sydney Sider family, they have transformed their lives to now living on such a beautiful winery! There is also accommodation here if you are looking for a place to stay. At Stomp! Wines for $6, I tried a trio of wine which complimented with Hunter Valley chocolates. The highlight for me was the sparking Verdelho. It was a pleasant rare taste of the sparking Verdelho; I've never seen this before so it was refreshing to see some innovation and a great tasting Verdelho it was. Ask if you can try their port as well. I bought a bottle of both! Their version of port was very smokey and full of depth. It's great to see that they are supporting the local chocolate makers too! There was an orange white chocolate, a white pistachio chocolate and a chili dark chocolate! Indulgence!
