XXXX Brewery Tour, Brisbane

3.9
#1 of 8 in Breweries in Brisbane Region
XXXX Brewery Tour introduces visitors to one of the city’s most iconic breweries, Castlemaine Perkins, home to the XXXX beer brand. This popular lager brand was first introduced in 1924, and its name is a throwback to the long standing tradition of using Xs to indicate the strength of an ale. On this tour you can see how a brewery that has been open since 1878 functions on a daily basis. See the production process by walking through the various sections of the brewery, and discover the 130 years of colorful beer history in this region. End you visit with a stop at the brewery’s bar, where you can taste all three of the popular XXXX lagers. Our Brisbane trip itinerary builder website makes visiting XXXX Brewery Tour and other Brisbane attractions simple, and helps you make a travel plan personal to you.

  • Great service, great tour! Nick was fantastic and very knowledgable.
  • Loved the beer and service. Food was good too, with decadent condiments to choose from.
  • Four of us took the tour 13/03/2017.Not advised in advance that the Brewery would NOT be operating due to staff training.Waste of money. Then when trying to enjoy a meal, FIRE ALARMS continued to sound driving us out of the restaurant.Absolute disaster of a day and four very disappointed visitors.Lift your game xxxxx and let clients know before hand when the brewery is not operating!!!!!! How about a refund ??
