West End, Brisbane

(4.4/5 based on 300+ reviews on the web)
One of Brisbane's most successful multicultural areas, West End is home to large Greek, Chinese, and Italian communities who have infused the streets with vibrancy. The area's economy thrives on its cafe and restaurant scene, which attracts residents of Brisbane on their off days. It was the first suburb of the city to receive its own tram line in 1885, making it easier for the posh folk of downtown to meet each other in the popular West End. The city's early immigrants from England named the suburb after their beloved London West End. A visit to West End represents just the start of the adventure when you use our Brisbane tourist route planner to plot your vacation.
