Before I start this post for the Queensland Maritime Museum I must point out that I am a volunteer here at the Museum. I have volunteered at the museum for the last 10 years after I retired from the Department of Education Brisbane. It is such a great place to visit with your family and the kids will love our warship the Diamantina. They can check out and operate the 4 inch guns, go down into the engine room and see the Captain's cabin. There are many other displays to visit. So search our website site for all the details and come in and see us! You won't be disappointed!
