The precinct is commonly filled with tourists who arrive by ship, in addition to locals who often arrive by CityCat.Brisbane Cruise TerminalThe Brisbane Cruise Terminal was opened on 29 August 2006. The $750 million development was completed by Multiplex. It is located on the north side of the Brisbane River upstream from the Gateway Bridge. The cruise ship terminal is capable of accommodating ships up to 270 metres in length. Ocean liners, super yachts and expedition ships dock at its international wharf on average once a week.Due to Gateway Bridge height restrictions several larger ocean liners which are unable to pass under the bridge dock north of the bridge at Pinkenba Wharf or at the Multi-user Terminal at the Grain Berth, located at Fisherman Islands. The Wharf is the Brisbane home for the P&O liner the Pacific Sun. • We had lunch at Cruise Inn, which was lovely. This is where the cruise ships leave from, so there's a good viewing area. There are lots of shops - which are quite expensive and have a "cruise attire" ...  more »
  • Good place to spend a night out. They have lots of shops, and great views over the river. A bit of a hike for Southsiders though, and especially if you're catching public transport
  • it was a quick stop but has many outlet options....many coffee shops, food restaurant, subway, cruise terminal is a minute away, handy taxis nearby

  • ***AAMAYA INDIAN RESTAURANT - Indecent and Cruel behaviour by the restaurant staff ( in a blue attire) As a ongoing customer we decided to have a dine at this restaurant with my family and our parents who came for a holiday visit. It is with great pain I would like to express the cruel behaviour by one of the staff to my 18 month old baby. This guy has starred at my little boy and also warned us rudely in front of other customers to take care of our boy when he was just walking inside the restaurant while we were closely watching him. There were no crowd during this time and our boy was just walking and that too not causing any hindrance to passage. This cruel man was sitting with his friends outside and came in to show his cruelty to my little boy. We were shocked to see this rude behaviour and also his attitude when we raised this concern. He was not bothered when we asked him and his attitude was so rude by saying us to go and complain wherever we want. We are not going to leave this Issue here. This is the first time we have faced this kind of behaviour in Australia, he has not even considered the value of a mother and a baby.

  • Love this place. Great food lovely senery. Would be great if there was a new zealand ice creamery
  • Since their renovation there is more than enough parking and it's very easy to come here for the cinemas or restaurants. Can get parking validated, nice views of the river.
  • In general, this precinct offers a wide variety of places to eat, and great entertainment. It is often busy when a cruise liner is docked, but now the site has introduced paid parking, the issues with getting a spot are pretty much nullified. Being in such close proximity to Eat Street Markets can make it tricky to gain access during the Eat Street period, but time it right and you'll have an enjoyable visit.
