  • Good range of interesting exhibits - not massive, compared to some museums we have visited but pretty well set out. Good to combine with GOMA or the Art Gallery for a cheap family day out.  more »
  • This place is awesome because they have banned selfie sticks. Hooray!! A few nice things to display the history of Brisbane  more »
  • Found this to be very informative. Looking around the public areas of city hall was a real treat also. A glorious building rich in Brisbane history.  more »

  • Clock tour is free and doesn't take too much time. Worth visiting if you happen to be in the city.
  • The Museum of Brisbane is a beautiful place to visit within Brisbane, its old world charm and excellent exhibits make it a great place to go to of a Sunday when looking for something to do.
  • It's a nice little museum. There are two art exhibits and a big exhibit exploring the people of Brisbane, both native and immigrant. The latter exhibit had lots of multimedia and gives a very accessible history of the Brisbane area. There's also a booth where visitors can record their own story. They even attempt to capture some f the smells of Brisbane in plastic canisters with little holes on top.
  • A little hard to find. Need to take the lift to the 3 rd floor. Old cafe is worth a look like stepping back to the 1950's. Museum is free and worth looks at along with the antique elevator to the tower and view of the city.
  • Even as a local I've been here a number of times as they have various visiting artist and exhibitions on here. There is also a clock tower tour and all of this is free! A very beautiful building too - check out the main hall when you are there and look up at the domed ceiling. This museum is well worth an hour of your time.
