  • Wish I'd had longer to explore the exhibits. A really interesting mix of artworks, in both scale and material - the cafe looked great too.  more »
  • Did not expect to be wowed by modern art as much as I was (I prefer traditional art) but the exhibits were stunning and the whole experience was interesting and thought provoking  more »
  • We enjoyed several hours at GOMA, viewing some tremendous modern art. This year is an anniversary so they are reexhibiting many of their most popular and best works, making it a great time to visit. T...  more »

  • Sensational morning wandering through the gallery. A wide range of art. From Jomon era (2500BC) Japanese ceramics, to more contemporary works by some masters. Very impressive indigenous art collection from Australia/New Guinea.
  • Nice gallery, love the use of water and sculptures throughout. Unfortunately the Australian exhibits were closed when I was there.
  • Nice little niche art collection. May not be at the scale of National Gallery of Victoria, but the overall design in terms of layout, spacing and decoration speaks of confidence and dedication in the local and regional art scene.
  • Brilliant space. This whole are has grown into its modernist skin as a building as the years have rolled on. Worth a visit. Love the water inside and out.
  • What a great space. Similar to GOMA beautiful architecture and a robust collection. It is worth having a wander around there for the space itself. The green space around it is a nice place to meet up with a friend. Highly recommend it if you are in Brisbane.
