  • What an experience and I spent the whole day walking around this amazingly well maintained and lovely park. Exotic and rare plants, colourful trees, ponds, ducks, ibises, flowers and what not. Great place for family outing or just be yourself and laze out on grass and simply enjoy the quiet surroundings. All free!!
  • It's as if it's some sort of secret. Quite a few people visit to walk, jog, train or cycle but not nearly as many as the place deserves. I visit 2 or 3 times each week. Every visit I find something new to photograph and every visit is as enjoyable as the previous visit. Check it out. You will not be disappointed.
  • Place itself is different world in itself away from City traffic and crowd. If you visit any weekday you will find lots of afternoon jogger who have taken out some time from busy schedule. You will see many private trainers. There is kids playground here. Garden paths are old compare to Roma st parkland which are far better maintained there. One can sit on the banks of Brisbane river and enjoy the view of moving city boats and privates boats parked in river. It gives you feeling if you are in Venice. Garden is being olds has a section of tropical trees offers you very cool environment almost 10 degree lower. Garden is must see place if you are lover of nature.
  • A great place to relax during busy times in the city. Always impeccably kept. A wonderful place to bring the family for a stroll around the gardens for relaxation. I often use it as a place to go at lunch time when working in the city to get 'out of the zone'. Very peaceful. It also provides a lovely walking/riding track along the river which connects the city reach to the Southbank reach and also the Goodwill foot bridge.
  • Beautiful space to walk around and relax a bit. Many spaces to sit down and have a picnic, do some stretching, or even take a nap if you please. Feels like you're getting out of the city with the variety of native animals and plants.
