Where to stay in Brisbane

Popular with tourists and business travelers, Brisbane's lodgings range from luxurious rental apartments with private pools and city views, to economical hostels just minutes from the main attractions in South Bank and the central business district. To soak up some local flavor at an affordable price, consider the city's inner suburbs. Located just north of the CBD, Spring Hill offers quiet accommodations within striking distance of the lively downtown areas. If you want to explore the city's famous nightlife scene, consider neighborhoods like Fortitude Valley or New Farm.

  • Not cheap, but has some simulators not available elsewhere in Australia (most other simulators are commercial jets or helicopters). Tried the Jet simulator which has HUD that's cool, and the performance of the jet is great. Also, two people can fly two jets at the same time.
  • Called them several times to book a session, no response. Left voice mails. The business appears to have closed down.
  • An awesome experience and the closest I have got to living a childhood dream. Thoroughly recommend this and my thanks to my children for giving this as a Xmas present to me
