  • Excellent easy walk with young children. Well sign posted. Beautiful scenery. Some steps, overall gentle walk. Start off on Star street, takes you along the river.  more »
  • When visiting Bright it is a must to see the Ovens River and do one of the many river walks. The scenery is so good and the walks are easy to enjoy at your own pace. Enjoy and snap some stunning...  more »
  • This is a relatively easy walk that takes about 1.5 hours. You cross a swing bridge, walk around rocks on the river and well worth doing when in Bright.  more »
  • We visited this place in late November. Visiting Bright can be memorable only just taking a walk through this place. The beautiful and tranquil Oven river flows beside the walk with green trees leaning on the water. The history suggests some sad events related to the river. There was a gold rush in mid 19th century and it witnessed lots of ethnic conflicts and brutality. But now the river is making its own story for the visitors and that is so relaxing.
  • Amazing Family walking track. And if you are feeling up to it in summer bring your bathers, there is a few spots to go in for a swim.
  • Excellent burgers, good service, but too many flies on ho, humid days. Needs air conditioning upgrade...
  • Really enjoyable, easy stroll beside the river, with lots of history to observe. The races used by the gold miners in the 1800s are still there, and you get a good idea of just how hard those miners worked as they tried to find their golden dream. Whilst the river was very low when we were there, I'm positive there would be good fishing once the water rises later in winter and spring. Surface of the walk is well made, and only a little muddy. Whilst not wheelchair friendly, it was safe for oldies like me who are not sure footed any longer.
  • Great place for a long walk, especially the walk along the river through the hanging bridge. There is this place where there are row of trees with different colours ( usually crowded). This is the main attraction in the bright. Going there early morning would be suitable.
