Make friends for life at The Saddle Camp, where you'll learn how to care for your animal and how to play games on horseback, ride bareback, and more. You'll be able to choose from several horses and ponies that are well mannered and quiet, as well as experienced. Programs cater to beginners, but if you already feel confident, you can make your ride as challenging as you wish. When you're not riding, you can visit the cafe for some treats, buy souvenirs, check out the kids playground, go for a bushwalk, photograph animals, have some dinner, or even stay the night. Check the website for more info. Put The Saddle Camp on your schedule, and learn what else deserves a visit by using our Braidwood trip site .

Went to The Saddle Camp and it was such a beautiful experience. We camped there and the package also included breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert so everything was served with love and the food was simple but tasted really fresh. About the horse riding, you will never get such a personalized experience with the horse if you don’t go there. I highly recommend the Show Day Ride for kids 5yrs and older. Our kids loved it and Helen did a great job at teaching them how to enjoy and ride horses. Once again thank you Helen and your family for the hospitality and beautiful weekend.
Helen and her team have a magnificent property just outside of Braidwood and they also provide an incredible experience. From introduction to booking to the camp, all interactions were fantastic. The camp is great value for money being all-inclusive and had our daughter go from never riding a horse to jumping in the arena. Incredible! If you are even thinking about Saddle Camp, contact Helen, have a nice Sunday drive and go and check it out for yourself. Well worth the effort. Oh, and help them out in these difficult drought times. Will be back soon!
