  • Great place for bbq family picnic, or just a walk among the park with grereattach bird watching areas
  • I regularly walk around Braeside Park to keep up with my exercise. The parkland is so special being a green wedge surrounded by housing and factories. Wonderful atmosphere - especially at sunrise.
  • What I can say is beautiful wetland area. Great for walks, BBQ's, and to take kids to play BUT if you are looking for remnants of Phar Lap, you will be disappointed. I would have thought that such a p...  more »

  • Has both grassy areas and wooded areas. There is a wetlands and a bird hide. There are several BBQ areas and quite a good children's playground. Well worth a visit.
  • Huge park with a splendid playground, and a visitor centre (with information on flora and fauna). No food service, but there are toilets and drinking water. Great for bird watching and serious walkers, but a bit big for family visits. Open at night, but not a super safe place to visit. Lots of rabbits!
  • Really nice park with a good network of tracks and trails. Great for children walking and riding bikes
  • the rangers here obviously love this place - and there's lots of birdlife that indicates the creatures love it too.
  • Don't go here after Dark, and watch out for snakes in summer, no dogs allowed, which sucks, but otherwise it's a grand Natural Parkland with lots of room to move.
