  • We chose to visit outside the peak holiday season as we try to avoid the crowds, being retired. it was also mid week, so we had the camping ground pretty well to ourselves. Not sure if we missed the e...  more »

  • Great. Quiet. Private. Owner / Manager / Staff were all pleasant and provided extras to us as we were ill-equipped. They run a good camp-site. Should one want more, one might be better suited to Noosa...  more »

  • Peace and quiet less than 100ks from Mooloolaba. The camping ground and facilities are immaculate. the lake is shallow and child friendly.. Proprietor was more than accommodating to our wants and allowed us to enjoy a contained campfire.. we will be back..
  • We loved our stay at Elanda Point. It was just a shame someone stole my 4 year old sons compass anf binoculars which his grandparents gave him for a birthday present that morning. I guess you have to lock everything these days even at family friendly campgrounds.
  • I agree with David McKay's post earlier this hour. Really enjoyed the coffee plungers David tried to show me ;) Someone was talking about a pig of a man, all we had was pass the pigs, kachow
  • The worst place I've ever camped. Signs for camp rules greeted you all over the camp grounds. Some of the staff are down right rude. toilet and showers were dirty and not working. all in all not a relaxing weekend.
  • Some of the reviews I have seen here are a joke. Yes they have rules and they enforce them but if you are not carrying on like a drunken teenager they will leave you alone. The rules are there for the benefit of the campers around you. I have been going there every year since I was a child and now take my own family and I have never had a problem. It is a great place with great scenery and wildlife and old but clean amenities with plenty to do and good bass and jacks to catch up in the Everglades. Well worth a visit!
