  • Fantastic location to camp. Right in the lake and a great launching point for Kayaking and canoeing to explore the Noosa everglades to the north (day visitor rates apply). Nice remote feel, but close to the township. There is are good amenities and a decent kiosk on site with food items and other consumables. Maybe a little over priced for an older camp ground. Peak times are absolutely packed!
  • Great camp ground and the lake is brilliant for small kids but not great for adults as you have to go hundreds of meters away from shore to be in up to your shoulders. Facilities are good and the shop is well stocked. Staff are not the friendliest though and it always feels like they don't want to be there.
  • Beautiful and quite great for the whole family very relaxing wildlife very friendly. Love it good for boating windsurfing canoeing swimming. A great kiosk with good choice for food. Friendly staff.
  • Good place for family campingl. Has hot shower, lots of bathrooms and open showers. Has wide open field and is right next to lake cootharaba where you van bring your own boat/kayak etc... and explore the surrounding waterways...
  • Very child friendly, not really a place for a couple, the lake is too hot. However I saw some kids making clay sculptures, riding bikes and having a great time in the lake.
