Must see · Hiking Trail · Nature / Park
Surrounded by stunning scenery, the popular Bondi to Coogee Walk follows a clifftop trail for 6 km (3.7 mi). You'll encounter wide golden-sand beaches, green parks, tide pools, and vistas of blue ocean waves dramatically crashing into craggy rock faces. The medium-grade walk passes Tamarama, Bronte, Coogee, and Maroubra beaches, all of which have free electric barbecues. Tamarama is a trendy beach, and Bronte suits families. Mackenzie's Point serves up superb waves for surfing. Along the way, you can stop to relax on the beach, snorkel Clovelly Beach, or admire the view from one of the world's most beautiful final resting places, Waverley Cemetery. • A great place to take in the sights of the eastern beaches of Sydney. Can get really busy on a sunny weekend morning, but well worth the effort for both beach and people watching.  more »
  • Not to be missed experience that gives you the flavor of the beach life. You can easily find parking in Coogee. About $6/hr. Gradient varies from flat to mod gradient. Beaches are awesome. If...  more »

  • Absolutely fantastic coastal views along a very well maintained track. Flip flops are fine! Loads of places to stop along the way to enjoy the view or have a coffee or lunch. Takes a good few hours and is quite exposed so hat and suncream are a must!
  • An absolutely beautiful experience. Be there at sunrise to get gorgeous views and beat the heat. Going up and down over cliffs, so many beautiful lookouts and breathtaking views. Highly recommended.
  • Second time I’ve done this walk and it did not disappoint! Views are stunning and I love that it feels so separate from the road. There is not a lot of cover so you are very exposed to sun, heat, wind. My dad did have some trouble with all up and down on the stairs, but we made it through.
  • This is a great walk but it can feel long on the Sydney heat. My suggestion would be that it is better sign posted as it would be good to be able to track your progress. The Waverley cemetery on the way is well worth a wander. There is a great sense of the people who built a nation.
  • Can't get enough of this. The route changed a bit since older times and now most of the walk is away from the rock edge. It's nice but it was nicer before when there was less restrictions.
