  • Was there recently to celebrate a special day. Bought a bottle of their verjuice which upon further inspection at home was past it's best before date. That could have been forgiven if it actually was the product that it was described as on the label. It tasted nothing like any verjuice I have ever had. It was as if they bottled some excess grape juice they had lying around and slapped a verjuice label on. Lunch was average luckily was surrounded by good company which made up for the shortcomings. Everything had a gimmicky feel to it. They give proper passionate artisan organic/biodynamic producers a bad name.
  • Absolutely fantastic! I was extremely blessed to have had my 30th Birthday celebrations at Captains Creek Organic Winery last month, it was superb! Doug, Carolyn and the entire team were such amazing hosts, the lunch was just simply scrumptious! Everything from the delightfully tasty sharing platers to the warm and hearty main meals is was a success from start to finish! The wide range of their wines and ciders including many popular beers was also really impressive. Being able to unwind next to the tranquillity of the surrounding farm land and vineyards was sensational! I will definitely be back and will hold many fond memories of my birthday celebrations at Captains Creek Organic Winery.
  • Beautiful setting, fantastic food (especially the Pizzas) and exceptional wine. Definitely worth a look if you're visiting the Daylesford / Hepburn region.
  • Broad selection of platters and organic wine
