  • You have to drive a few kilometres on dirt road but it's worth it. The viewing platform can be seen from the edge of the car parking area so it's not far down the steps. I took my grandson in a stroll...  more »
  • A great lookout point in the blue mountains. Limited parking to about 20 cars. Be sure to go on a clear day. A couple of great spots for a picnic too. bring an esky!
  • A great place to sit with friends at the end of a long day to relax and appreciate nature at this wonderful location. It's very quiet. Not many visitors Just at the entrance to the national park there...  more »

  • Accessible by 2WD, great walking track descending to Blue Gum Forest, pit toilet available but no water. There's a sign that suggests only 5 campsites available but when we went there were more than 5 tents set up. It's also close to town incase you forget to pack something.
  • Great camping spot with views into the valley. It's fairly easy to get to in a 2WD, there is only a short section of unsealed road. There is a decent number of campsites which are spread out. No water or anything like that, but it's only a short drive into Blackheath. Also should get phone signal here which can be positive or negative
  • A great walk down and a beautiful camping ground near the river
  • l am the person who named it perrys wonderland campground. First it was perrys lookout, but now it's perrys wonderland campground.
  • Free. A small number of basic, level campsites in beautiful surroundings. Wildlife to spot at night. Pit toilets nearby. You will need to bring water and the access road is unsealed for the final few kilometres. No parking beside tents, carry goods to your campsite. You can see the lights of Sydney at night from afar.
