  • Been coming here since growing up in Bendigo. The pottery class is a must for everyone! However, my last class was a bit of a let down. After receiving my products in the mail, I found the glazing was missing in a few areas here and there, essentially making any practical usage useless. Still, the pottery is amazing and I love coming back anytime I can. There's also an antique store nearby that'll have something for everyone. I'd love to see some products that are garden orientated in the future. I'm using a bowl with a hole drilled through the bottom as a bonsai pot and it's fantastic! Staff are friendly and are love to have a chat with during off-peak times.
  • Lovely historical area with some great local artwork on display and for sale. Did a self guided tour of the factory which was quite interesting. A quite nice cafe there too.
  • The pottery was lovely, along with the pieces and the great museum. However, it seemed as though the staff let the place down. The staff members in the cafe staff didn't say "please" or "thank you" once and then proceeded to bellow our names rather than bringing it to us (the cafe was virtually empty at the time). Upon wishing to purchase 2 dinnerware sets we were then told by the lady at the register to get it ourselves (quite a difficult load to manage). The lady then seemed rather put out at having to wrap our sets in newspaper and was loathe to give us a box! She seemed quite unable to fathom us buying so much and did not know how to handle it. Basic manners (such as offering to help us collect our items) would have erased all negative experiences of the place. But a lovely pottery, we have and will continue to purchase Bendigo Pottery pieces for many years.
  • Interesting place where you can look at all the pottery and learn about the old history of pottery and old wood fired furnaces. This is a working factory btw. Try a wheel throwing lesson too.
  • Went for a pottery lesson and it was a wonderful afternoon. Would recommend.
