  • Friends visiting from interstate had heard of Bendigo Art Gallery's good number of works by Australian women artists and wanted to see the permanent collection. So I took them to Bendigo by train (it ...  more »
  • My mother and I came here for the Marilyn Munro exhibit. It was tastefully executed and such a lovely bit of movie history displayed for all too see. Really enjoyed the permanent exhibitions as well.
  • Being an art buff I am a little biased but this gallery does itself great credit. Well curated exhibition of representative art from different quarters. Certainly worth and hour or two... Try to get i...  more »

  • I've been here for several exhibitions now; wedding gowns, the dresses of both Grace Kelly & Marilyn Monroe. The latest for the opening of the Toni Maticevski Exhibition. Great to see an aussie get some space here for their body of work. Lovely, friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic staff. Plenty of local places for a great coffee afterwards.
  • What a fantastic gallery! Great collection and amazing exhibitions. Loved the Marilyn Monroe exhibition! Will be back.
  • Well worth including in your itinerary if you're making a day trip to Bendigo, or having a weekend break. With a very eclectic range of pieces on display, there's plenty to discover.
  • Great gallery. Has some good exhibits including the Marilyn Munro special earlier this year (2016).
  • Saw the Marilyn exhibit before it closed - but the Gallery itself is a wonderful spot to visit any time of the year.
