very interesting place to visit.Full of history and educational.I feel anyone with children need to take their kids in this place to see how a dairy farm is run.And they have cheese tastings too more »
We visited Bega Cheese Factory. I think our expectations must have been too high as we were disappointed. Yes the shop and tea/cafe restaurant was poor, but the cheese section and tasting was poor. more »
Very nice museum and interesting (gift is not the right word) shop A section of books as well as nice video presentation on history of Bega cheese Nice views over the country side on the balcony Had a... more »
Disappointing. Far too commercial and a wasted opportunity. Only one cheese was speciality cheese (a 3 year aged Cheddar) with all other on tasting being product you can find in the supermarket shelves including processed cheeses. Bega team should look at creating an artisan range and have the store become a true destination for foodies.
Always a great place to stop and try or by some cheese. They have a museum up stairs which is great to walk around, especially if you have little kids, the museum is a little old but still great to see and stop at when driving between melbourne and sydney or any other long distance driving
Not a Cheese shop. This is a cafe, there is only the smallest amount of cheese to try and buy. If you're looking for different cheeses this is not the place to stop.
Good cheese and milkshakes. Also a video to watch regarding the history of bega cheese.
Interesting place. It all looks a little tired though
