  • This place is a commercial Seahorse farm selling seahorses to all over the world. As such they had plenty of knowledge and lots of seahorses but primarily the same breed. We were glad we did the tour ...  more »

  • Seahorse World is not an aquarium but a commercial seahorse farm. You cannot visit the farm by yourself but you have to take a guided tour. Don't expect fancy aquariums because you will see large breeding tubs with next to no decoration. After the farm part there was a room with some interesting species like sea dragons and some small sharks. In this rooms there was also a touch and feel part where seahorses were taken from the water and passed around for photos . As an animal lover this broke my heart. I feel they should separate the showing and farming part and leave out the touch and feel part. Although no animals get hurt they belong in the water not in our hands.
  • We really loved our tour here. The tour guide did a really good job with informing us and even let people of any age touch seahorses in the hands on tank. It wasn't all seahorses, they had crabs, sharks and fish which was really good to incorporate into the tour. We would definitely recommend this to anyone coming here. (Tip: Get a triple pass to save money on other attractions nearby.)
  • I never knew much about seahorse but I learnt a lot more by going here. Nice people
  • At best it is seahorse farm, not a seahorse world. Don't go there if you have any compassion to animals.
  • Worth a visit but don't expect anything too spectacular. Interesting to hear the talks. Some big fish are in tiny aquariums that was quite sad to see.
