  • Very interesting walking through the centre reading history and recounts of the devastating mine collapse. Highly recommend the visit 
  • While this museum tells the story of the trapped Beaconsfield miners there is also a lot to see and interact with. There are plenty of exhibits from time gone by including steam engines, switchboard, ...  more »

  • This is much bigger than first expected. A huge amount of information to soak in...... try the farther machine just inside the museum... you'll find it

  • Great experience, interesting machines, good view from up the shaft Liked the old telephones, very cool, learned so much more about 2006 disaster and great gift shop Recommended for people who like machines and mechanical things Admission is a good price
  • Great experience. Learn about the history of the town & its mining heritage. Excellent place to visit. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Definitely worth a visit.
