  • If travelling through Beaconsfield do stop at gold mine. Lots to see. The centre blends the old with the new. Lots of information on the mine distaster. Well worth the visit.  more »
  • A very interactive musem which keeps children occupied while the adults can read about the history of the mine.  more »
  • If you are in the area it is worth a visit. Very interesting place full of history. While you are in the area check out the Main Street nice and friendly people and a great cup of tea see photo.  more »

  • Very informative. It was set out well with hands on areas. Great story about the mine rescue.
  • We stopped here by accident and was hesitant about going inside. But it turned out to be one of the most interesting museums we ever went into. It absolutely worth a visit!

  • Nice museum that covers the 1996 mine rescue. Some air conditioning upstairs in the exhibit would be excellent as it gets very hot.
