The almost bunker-like exterior of National Motor Racing Museum conceals a colorful, well-tended, and intriguing interior. The attraction of the museum goes beyond merely appealing to racing fanatics and petrolheads, meaning that even those not particularly interested in motor racing will find the facility an engaging one. Some of Australia’s best-known racing cars, motorcycles, and memorabilia are on display at the museum. • For the motor racing lover, this is a must visit. Make sure you see the movie before hand, with a decade by decade history of Mt Panorama. Outside in the museum, you'll see all the classic cars you'd ...  read more »
  • Had occasion to drop in here during the race week madness at Bathurst. If you're going here you're obviously into racing, and it's well worth a visit, although some of the displays are a little awkwar...  read more »
  • Even if you aren't a redhead (I'm not) this is an interesting museum showcasing Australia's motor sport history. A great number of racing cars and motor bikes too, you can easily spend a few hours her...  read more »
  • Somewhat disappointing as there were no Ford GTs apart from an XR. You would think the XW and XY would be represented at Australia's premier museum of motor racing. One GTR XU1 and one Sierra Cosworth turbo on display. NO NISSAN SKYLINE GTR !?!?! The museum is interesting, but far from representative of the location and it's history. If it was not for Wayne Gardner's NSR500 from 1988, I would have rated this museum as one star.
  • Awesome selection of bikes and cars. Plenty to see. For my son, the cross section engines and gearboxes were fascinating.
  • Must place to visit for Motorsport enthusiast. Well maintained large collection of cars and motorcycle exhibits. Absolutely wonderful.
  • Great museum with heaps of cars and bikes and great historical information. Great value for money and a well stocked gift shop.
  • The ultimate destination for a petrol head from Aotearoa on a mystery road trip! Loved the historic photos from the earliest days of the circuit.
