  • Animals are well fed but the place is in disrepair. Sad to see. Expensive for $26. The train broken which was very disappointing. We went here 6 years ago and it's run down from then. The Koala handle...  more »

  • Today was the first time I've ever been here and i had an amazing time! The lady who looked after our group was funny and very friendly! My partner and i got here at 10:20am and didn't leave till 1:50pm. I got to cuddle a baby wombat, hold a snake and feed the deers and kangaroos! Money well spent. My partner and i will be back for more!
  • Extremely friendly staff. Spend hours kuddling several wombats. Fed and pet kangaroos. Held snakes and kakadus on the arm. A must do when you are around Batemans Bay and interested in australian animals! Thank you so much for the best day in my life!!
  • Decent enough place, though very expensive for what you get.
  • Fantastic place to wonder through and look at the animals. It's great to hold a wombat!!
  • This small and lovely sanctuary is home to many rescued native animals. Karen is one of the most approachable and interesting carers/zoo staff I have ever met. She took time to explain things and was most welcoming of our 2-year old daughter. The entry fee is modest and the grounds are cool and shady. There are BBQ facilities and a playground too. Well worth visiting and supporting this small local sanctuary. Don't go expecting Taronga Zoo and you won't be disappointed!
