  • Quiet beach which is great for family and just a day of relaxing. It's quite a trek to get here if you don't drive but worth every effort. There's a jetty for fishing (even though I saw signs that mentioned no fishing..). You can enjoy the sea and a quiet time here on the weekdays. It's a bit of a journey on public transportation but as I said, worth it!
  • It's a nice beach very good for kids swimming. We can BBQ under big trees . My family always go there to enjoy it ! I like it 👍
  • Beautiful beach, quiet when we went (November). We had lunch at the beach cafe, which was good but wasn’t cheap. I wish we’d spotted the harbour fish and chip shop first! It looked great.
  • An iconic Sydney beach. So many reasons why this is a great beach, despite expensive parking. It is a sheltered harbour beach, so very safe. There are many different places to swim, and exploring the beach and surrounds is good fun. The cafes are in general good. Plenty of space despite many visitors, to set up on the beach and relax through the day. Sparkling views out over the harbour.
  • It's a very beautiful and peaceful local beach that is nice for a picnic with friends or families. The water temperature is usually cooler than the shore. There is a very busy fish n chips shop and few good cafes. There's a direct bus to the city or chatswood and Taronga zoo.
