  • Went to the Archibald exhibition for the second year running. A bit crowded but all went smoothly. We had mixed up our train timetable and needed to change our timed entry tickets - the telephone operator couldn't have been more helpful, all done with no drama and the replacement tickets were emailed to us the same day I phoned the gallery. Lots of places could take a lesson in customer service from this organisation!
  • This is possibly one of the best regional galleries in Australia. Often hosts great exhibitions like the Archibald Prize and the Foto Bienale.
  • A surprising range of quality paintings from across the periods. Really lovely. Beautifully presented as well. I visited during the Archibald Prize exhibition which was fabulous. Well worth a visit to Ballarat for the gallery alone.
