I traveled in the middle of winter and despite bright sunshine on all other days, the day I visited it rained. But despite the rain the koala mum did allow us to see her baby, which was kind of her.  more »

It is a place where I would like to live in! Love it to bits. A natural reserve where animals can live without the fear of humans... unfortunately only in reservations wild life is safe... If you have the chance to visit, just do it, you'll be more than happy to see happy kangaroos hooping everywhere, beautiful koala, different birds, we seen a venomous snake, I can't remember now all of them, but I can say that I visited the Tidbinbilla Reservation four times already and I have in plan more visits in the future!

Beautiful place, Although the vistors enter is horrid, the lady at the counter told a group of us we were culturally insensitive for wanting to do the hanging rock walk. She went on to tell me that she "loves it when people like us come for walks". I have never tried to be rude or culturally incentive towards indigenous people. In fact Eddie Mabos wife is a very good family friend of mine and my family works tirelessly for companys such as synapse. She was incredibility rude.

Awesome! Remember to apply sunscreen and bug repellent.we saw a lot of kangaroos during the last hour of our visit. The kangaroos come out at 7 or 8 p.m. very beautiful place and fine weather. The koalas were still moving when we saw them. We also saw lots of birds and other wildlife. We didn't see the echidna though. We did spot a platypus and a long necked tortoise. The platypuses are harder to spot.

Fantastic. Lots of interesting wildlife to see. Best to come first thing in the morning if you want to see animals, especially in summer. They also have night tours but i havent tried that. Really interesting and well-done educational material along the way on some of the paved walks. I recommend getting out and taking one of the longer trails.
