  • Beautiful lighthouse on the most south westerly point of West Australia. This is the point where the Indian ocean and the Great Southern ocean meet. You can clearly see the difference between the two oceans as each has a different colour. Well worth taking a trip up to the top of the lighthouse, the views are remarkable.
  • Lovely place to visit. Amazing views. We got the package to see this place and Jewel's cave which saved us a little $$. There are tours, audio guide for the outside area and a guide for inside of the lighthouse. I'm not the fittest person out there but made it fine to the top of the lighthouse. I think there was about 170 steps. There was no rush to walk all the way up in the one go. The guide would stop several times to talk about the lighthouse/history so it made the walk up very manageable. We spent about an hour to listen to the audios and then went through the tour of the lighthouse. Also, on the way there. We didn't drive up through the main route that the GPS showed us. We turned off into a dirt road and saw some more amazing views, the only thing was that he messed up the car and we had to wash the car before returning it. Clean route, fast and clean but not alot of scenery. Scenic route, dirty, further but you can also drop by the Quarry as a side visit.
  • There is parking and a good cafe here serving some good freshly prepared meals, the cafe is protected with large full glass walls so protected on a wet or windy day.. it's where the two oceans meet and can be quite dramatic.. you should go if you are anywhere near.. recommended.
  • One of the must go place. The lighthouse have a story of its own. Not a big crowd so it's nice to walk and enjoy the sencery . Convenient to go if you rented a car. Along the way, there are nice beaches to stop by and take pictures
  • Ray and his younger colleague really friendly and helpful. It was a windy rainy August day when we arrived but 30 minutes later as we were leaving, the wind died, the rain ceased and the sun came out. Indian ocean Southern ocean, same rough wild waters.
