Royal Pines Resort Golf Club, Ashmore
Categories: Golf Courses, Outdoor Activities
Royal Pines Resort Golf Club, home to the Gold Coast’s only 27-hole composite golf course and driving range, has hosted numerous professional tournaments, including the Australian PGA Championship and the Australian Ladies Masters. Designed to challenge and entertain golfers of all skill levels, the course is widely regarded as one of the top 60 public golf venues in the country. Opened in 1990, the course was designed by Tomojiro Maruyama, a renowned Japanese architect. In 2004 a new nine-hole course was added on the western side of the resort, over undulating terrain surrounded by lush tropical vegetation. Test your skills on the challenging championship layouts, but remember the golf club’s dress code, which forbids denim and/or shorts and requires all players to wear collared shirts while on the premises. Great Japanese Cuisine experience at Arakawa restaurant at RACV Royal Pines Resort. Food is simple but full of flavour and authenticity. This was our second visit and loved it each time.Bento ice box is a must if you have a sweet tooth.
Played a round there recently. Pro shop staff and golf cart concierge were friendly and very helpful. Loved the course, great layout and not too difficult from the white tees for the average club golfer. No hold ups even though the course was busy. My only gripe would be the condition of the greens. It was mid August when I played and the greens were almost brown and quite inconsistent speeds between holes. Still, would love to return and play again, just hope the green are improved

We came here for lader clay shooting and segway activities. It was surprising fun! It's suitable for both children and adults. I would certainly recommend it. The place looks amazing, I wish we could've spent more time there.
