Trip Planner: South Pacific / Australia / Queensland / Gold Coast / Ashmore / Royal Pines Resort Golf Club
Royal Pines Resort Golf Club, home to the Gold Coast’s only 27-hole composite golf course and driving range, has hosted numerous professional tournaments, including the Australian PGA Championship and the Australian Ladies Masters. Designed to challenge and entertain golfers of all skill levels, the course is widely regarded as one of the top 60 public golf venues in the country. Opened in 1990, the course was designed by Tomojiro Maruyama, a renowned Japanese architect. In 2004 a new nine-hole course was added on the western side of the resort, over undulating terrain surrounded by lush tropical vegetation. Test your skills on the challenging championship layouts, but remember the golf club’s dress code, which forbids denim and/or shorts and requires all players to wear collared shirts while on the premises.
