Golf Course Outdoor Activity
Royal Pines Resort Golf Club, home to the Gold Coast’s only 27-hole composite golf course and driving range, has hosted numerous professional tournaments, including the Australian PGA Championship and the Australian Ladies Masters. Designed to challenge and entertain golfers of all skill levels, the course is widely regarded as one of the top 60 public golf venues in the country. Opened in 1990, the course was designed by Tomojiro Maruyama, a renowned Japanese architect. In 2004 a new nine-hole course was added on the western side of the resort, over undulating terrain surrounded by lush tropical vegetation. Test your skills on the challenging championship layouts, but remember the golf club’s dress code, which forbids denim and/or shorts and requires all players to wear collared shirts while on the premises. • Having been at least 4-5 years since playing the course I was keen to play a round and experience this wonderful golf course once more. Was here with a large group and the course didn't disappoint, lo...  more »

  • Whilst the hotel is great after it's refurbishment, give the coffee at Tees on the golf course a big miss. The chefs are good but the serving staff whilst friendly are by and large incompetent and can...  more »

  • We attended an international Irish dancing competition. This is the second year we attended the competition at this venue. It is a great venue. Plenty of room, great facilities and sound. The food was quite expensive but that is to be expected at a venue like this. Overall, very happy with this venue and look forward to returning in the future.
  • In attended for a professional conference. Facilities were neat, well organised and met the needs of the conference. The hotel rooms have an exceptional view however nothing particularly stands out in terms of features. I would have liked to have some sort of drawer storage in my room however a part from that the room was more than adequate. I wish I was a golfer - there is possibly more potential as a destination if this is your passion
  • Haven't stayed here for leisure yet but have visited twice for work. Facilities are nice and the conference area is large with plenty of natural light in the foyer. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
  • The food was amazing considering the hotel was catering for 400 approx of us. The staff were helpful, polite and friendly. Room was clean, modern, comfortable and inviting but carpet around the balcony was a little mankey.
  • Strong Staying at Total Royal Rival Pines for a work conference. The venue is excellent, great views and very modern. Staff are helpful and friendly and the golf course is world class. Highly recommended.
