  • Wild Coast, moving Lake and to a dramatic sunset. A permanent reminder of Tasmania is to experience this here, really. It is amazingly evening empty and I was on the 17.1.18 here completely alone. Camping Chair to take and put forward on the cliff, until the Sun has sunk (take jacket!). Also during the day so beautiful. Limited parking spaces. From the road 2km dirt road (slightly rough). At the car park toilets.

  • This place is pretty amazing. It’s a must see if you’re in the area. I’ve travelled extensively around Australia and I’ve never seen anything like it. All the huge driftwood logs on the beach are fascinating. A great spot for photography, or simply just to admire the scenery.
  • If passing through Arthur River recommend you take the 5 minutes to include this. Area can be very windy and cold so be prepared. The ocean and mouth of the River look very hostile and rough. Even the rocks looks threatening. Good sheltered car park and flat wooden boardwalk to headland.
  • Visit this just so you have been there done that. The most western place in Tasmania to look out into the ocean and in a straight line from point is south America.
  • Definately worth the drive out there. I would only go on a fine weather day, there's no shelter from wet weather
  • Nature at its most natural. Lots of interesting information about the original inhabitants.
