  • Actually we were going to the restaurant so we probably would have driven past ourselves! having said that the museum is worth a visit and they also have a shop which is interesting as well.

  • This outstanding regional museum is the public face of the University of New England's extensive collection. The curators change the displays frequently and are, in my experience, very thoughtful in their approach to their work. In fact, I wish some of the state galleries were this diligent. If you can, catch one of the tours of the room where they store the works not on display, you will see a side to the work of museums that you can rarely see at the bigger galleries. The cafeteria is worth a visit while you're there!
