Araluen Cultural Precinct, Alice Springs

(4.3/5 based on 130+ reviews on the web)
A complex that houses art and history within its environs, Araluen Cultural Precinct showcases stunning and dynamic aboriginal art. Discover the history of skies at the aviation museum or the history of the earth at the geology and fossil exhibit. Catch a performance at the center for contemporary art and delight in the many galleries around the complex. If you're a film buff, check out the program for art-house films at the 500-seat theater, where independent films and live performance both find an audience. However, one of the highlights of the complex isn't the moving pictures but the magnificent stained-glass window that greets visitors at the entrance at the arts complex. Our Alice Springs trip itinerary builder makes visiting Araluen Cultural Precinct and other Alice Springs attractions simple, and helps you make a travel plan personal to you.

  • Great place to spend time yourself or with your family. There are aviation museum, central Australian museum which is great for geologists, great art center, good cafe and a great outdoor playing grounds for kids.
  • Inspiring concert for the last night of Desert Festival combining Local + Indian + guitar quartet. Playing original pieces and combining all facets of the presenters...vocal + instruments. Encore would have been great.
