The trail meanders and climbs high above sea level, ensuring that you’ll be able to look out across the ocean towards the spectacular Whitsunday islands. The walk is 2.5km (1.6 mi) long.   • Beautiful lookout, worth the 1.5hr uphill battle. Coming back down should average under an hour. Parked close to kara crescent (street itself is local access only).  more »

  • Nice good 1.5hr climb and one hour descent back, (8km return) to the Honeyeater lookout. Starts from 30 Kara Crescent in Airlie beach so just put that into Google maps to find the entrance. There's no...  more »
