  • Living in Hobart we take all our guests to the Bligh Museum when visiting Bruny Island. It as a wonderful collections of artifacts. Fascinating exhibition
  • Much credit must go to the volunteers who run this place. It is not the most professional of museums but it is full of information and should not be missed. The cost is $4 but please be generous.
  • Wonderful old newspapers, models, and so much info - take your time! The curator there has a lot of knowledge too.
  • Great collection of historical documents relating to Cook, Bligh, Tasman, Flinders and others. $4 admission is great value.
  • Through his travels and dedication, Dr. Hamilton has left us an important legacy of documents and collectibles pertaining to an era that set the foundations for our nation. Well worth your time.
