  • I rarely give bad reviews, but I’m sorry, I just didn’t get anything from this uninviting, uninteresting and uninformative venue. I think it should be called the Wine and conference/reception centre b...  more »
  • What should be great venue for a small conference, meeting or workshop, except let down badly by noise, service, and sound system disasters. Food was good, but special diets ordered didn’t show up. Di...  more »
  • We enjoyed a brief but informative free tour of the stunning centre at 11:30am, then went to investigate the 120 bottles of wine on offer to taste. Wow! You can have a 25ml taste (cheap or expensive d...  more »

  • My family attended a wedding at the National Wine Centre on the 1st October 2017. The experience of the customer service and food was of the highest standard. When we arrived the Security guard noticed my father-in-law was struggling to walk up the ramp. He explained to my husband where to park to make it easier when we left. His name was Graham (I think) and was an absolute gentleman. The waitress who was looking after our table was absolutely wonderful, her name was Gabrielle and she made sure we weren't without drinks all night, had a great sense of humour whilst conducting herself in a very professional manner. The food was absolutely delicious and was served hot. Our compliments go out to the chefs and other staff who added to an already amazing night. I cannot speak highly enough of our experience and would highly recommend having a function there. Thank you National Wine Centre for your excellent service and going over and above the call of duty. Regards, Teresa Fogliano xx
  • Bit of fun. VERY expensive. $2.90 per 25mL taste is a bit steep. Fun to try a large variety of wines, if you're willing to burn a bit of money. Could maybe have a bit more info about the wines available for tasting...
  • Love the food but I had until my most recent visit, forgotten about its terrible acoustics. Not a good place for a chat if you are losing any of your hearing as the concrete surroundings generated too much background noise.
  • Very nice place. An excellent choice to hold meetings, weddings, gatherings, conferences and training.
  • There for dinner for a company event and the food was excellent. Had the steak that was cooked medium/rare which is a miracle when you have over a large group setting.

Where to stay in Adelaide

Most budget-friendly rooms in Adelaide cluster in the central business district, with plenty of backpacker accommodations located near the city's central bus station. Adelaide also boasts an outstanding public transport system, which makes staying outside the central areas a viable and economical option for sightseers. Look for quiet and affordable rooms in North Adelaide, a leafy neighborhood filled with an eclectic mix of shopping and dining options. Book early for visits during peak season, and expect higher prices on the weekends and during school holidays.
