  • Recommend the interactive wine exhibit upstairs at the National Wine Centre for anyone not overly familiar with, but interested in learning more about wine. Information about wine is highly accessible i.e different varietals, history of wine/Australia's different wine regions (including smaller regions) and introduction to the wine-making process. The exhibit itself is difficult to find, so signage could be improved.
  • Good for conferences.Nice place to spend time within city..I attended a conference and guess what I was served some cool Indian food
  • I think we picked a bad Sunday for a family breakfast. There was a convention on and they all individually queued up to place their coffee orders (why one person didn't simply go around and take orders on their behalf was beyond me). There was only one harried person behind the counter. Our food arrived half an hour later. Those of us that ordered poached eggs received hard-boiled ones, which was disappointing as the hollandaise, bacon and ham was quite nice. The vanilla bean pancakes were not what I expected and were more like layered crepes, but they were delicious, and my niece loved the flowers used for decoration. I suspect we just arrived at a bad time.
  • We had a great tasting and cheeseboard, nice environment, great to stop by at after wandering through the Botanic Gardens
  • It was an amazing experience that I tester various kind of wine in this place.

Where to stay in Adelaide

Most budget-friendly rooms in Adelaide cluster in the central business district, with plenty of backpacker accommodations located near the city's central bus station. Adelaide also boasts an outstanding public transport system, which makes staying outside the central areas a viable and economical option for sightseers. Look for quiet and affordable rooms in North Adelaide, a leafy neighborhood filled with an eclectic mix of shopping and dining options. Book early for visits during peak season, and expect higher prices on the weekends and during school holidays.
