  • Adelaide Central Markets offer you an experience that is slowly fading away ...... genuine fresh produce without the more typical plastic throw away toys. Great atmosphere for all comers.  more »

  • Not every city would have a great market such as these one, very organised, clean and especially the atmosphere here feel very welcoming. The produce are fresh and the seller are also kind enough to share knowledge about their products. One of the experience I had, is buying an apple, once i asked them why it's so glossy and good looking, aren't the same as the apples in supermarket, they explain that it was waxed and polished so it would last longer and keep the fruits freshness.. things like that, I hope it will be useful, enjoy!
  • Such a vibrant bustling place. Ample fruit and vegetables, continental, flowers food and more. Most popular place in Adelaide for the markets, or China Town next door. And a lot more. The interstate bus terminal is across the street. . Here you are at the centre of Adelaide. Easy walking in each direction.
  • If you know what you're after, you won't find better food. Otherwise, they can all help you find it. Great staff, better goods. 5 stars
  • The stores are great, and there is something for everyone. I personally love the Hello Kitty murchandise available. The pub has amazing coffee, and The Adelaide Nut always has the freshest products. It can be crowded; but that is because of the quality of the businesses.
  • The central markets have so many great smells and colours and tastes to experience. Some nights there is live music too. Even if I'm not looking to buy any fresh produce it is still fun to come for a coffee and to wander around and soak up the atmosphere.
