Arashi Beach, Palm - Eagle Beach

A known site for snorkeling because of its clear waters, at Arashi Beach you'll find diverse tropical fish and the occasional sea turtle navigating the sea floor. Get there early to secure one of the thatched-roof beach huts to escape the sun, but consider bringing your own shade as a backup. There are no facilities on the Blue Flag-certified beach, so be sure to bring all the snacks and water you'll require for the day. • In my opinion the most beautiful beach on the island, I would have been spring d all day if it weren't for the risk of burning. It offers free parking and a bar on the beach (there is not much choice in the menu). Umbrellas until exhaustion (not many, the beach isn't huge would never arrive after 10).

  • Beaches and water were fun. Drop off as you walk out made getting back up a challenge for many I watched. Chairs and umbrellas were older and seen better days. Water was phenomenal! Took the bus at st...  more »

  • This beach was so nice!! So calm and empty. Be careful when the wind blows though. The sand gets carried and blows everywhere.
  • Beautiful and peaceful spot. Loved the white coral sand! It's quite close to the northern end of the island though, so be careful for possible strong currents.
  • Loved this beach! We've seen more than a few beaches in the Caribbean and this ranks up there as one of, if not the best beach we've ever seen. It the best for overall beauty and relaxation. Maybe a tie with Grace Bay in Turks and Caicos, not nearly as big though. It was our favorite while in Aruba, hands down. Hardly a ripple; beautiful white sand flat bottom and turquoise water. You are at almost the same comfortable depth 100 yards from shore. Bring your own chairs and set up under a palapa not being used or rent from the chair/umbrella vendors. Price is negotiable especially if the vendor knows you'll be there for a few days. Michael took good care of us. Beer was MUCH cheaper than the other beach clubs to the south but we usually brought our own cooler filled with drinks for the day.
  • A nice sandy beach for sunning and swimming with a beach bar and parking lot. Not a snorkeling destination unless you head south (to the left) towards Catalina Cove - just follow the tour boats. Not always overly crowded (can be unbearable when mutlipke tour groups arrive) but definitely buzzing with lots of the permanent palm umbrellas and chairs to rent. Close to California Lighthouse.
  • Lovely beach! Bathrooms are $1 which is pretty normal price in Aruba but they were clean!
