  • Hill is not the highest, but the steps are steep and heat on the island. Climb better prior to the sunset, when the Sun is behind the mountain and closed it. Local use these steps augustes and running up-down))) shake their buttocks))) so don't be surprised if you couple of times during the ascent will overtake the same cute brunette, and you due to shortness of breath do not have time to tell her the compliment)))) bring be sure to water. The rise of the overfill 25-45 minutes (depending on your physical form). And grab your camera, because you can get on top of some of the best photo of a sunset in Aruba. The peak of little, tight, so the space for photography to better take in advance. At the foot of the mountains haven't noticed any sellers of souvenirs or water.

  • We saw Hooiberg from a distance, mostly from a rock structure that you can climb that is nearby (Stonehenge of Aruba). It's a beautiful looking hill or mountain, depending on what you consider it. You...  more »
  • the second mountain most high of Aruba. Very entertaining tour, uploaded about 600 steps, you can see the island at 360 degrees and enjoy the typical vegetation of the island. Of course a more comfortable vantage point to see the island in all its glory, but it is a very good plan to know Aruba from one of the highest points.

  • 600 steps to get to 540+ feet. Great view of the island all across. You can clearly see the airport, California Lighthouse and the ocean on both sides of the island. The steps are steep at some part and are moderately strenuous.
  • Training, adventuring and great views of the island.
  • Great view and a heavy work out! Resting places on the way, but no handles on the side.
  • Great hike up
  • This is a healthy workout. The top was disappointing, as you don't have a clean view all around. Be prepared for a giant concrete structure with antennas attached. You'll have to navigate around this structure if you expect views of the entire island.
