4.2/5 based on 160+ reviews on the web
Enjoy a panoramic view of the city and admire a symbol of Armenia at Victory Park and Statue of Mother Armenia, a green area overlooking Yerevan. The monumental, 51 m (167 ft) metal figure of a sword-bearing woman stands on a huge basalt pedestal resembling a three-nave Armenian basilica. The pedestal, which once supported a colossal sculpture of Stalin, houses a military museum commemorating World War II Victory Day. Look for the conserved Soviet Katyusha multiple rocket launcher and other artillery pieces on display in the surrounding park. Take a turn around the green grounds, rent a paddleboat in the manmade lake, or visit the onsite amusement park. Make Victory Park and Statue of Mother Armenia a centerpiece of your Yerevan vacation itinerary, and find what else is worth visiting using our Yerevan travel itinerary planner.

  • The main simbol of Armenia! You can find a museum underneath the statue. Also you can see some old war tech around it.
  • Lived on ulnetsi very nice area quiet nice amusement park and streets go at 12 am when it's raining. Legendary.
  • There used to be a giant Stalin standing there. Thankfully it got replaced by Mother Armenia. Armenian women rule =)
  • Underneath the statue there is an entrance into a small history museum. There is also some left over military equipment from recent battles including some missiles and an old tank that you can climb up onto. Drop by here on your trip to Armenia.
